    • COVID testing is no longer required however please take one if you’ve just traveled, been to a hospital, shelter, or been around someone who has COVID. If you'd like to be masked during a session, please lmk, I'll mask too :)

    • I use non-petroleum jelly + am shifting into using biodegradable/eco-friendly materials in my tattoo practice. Check www.goodjudy.ca if interested!

    • If you have sensory/access needs, please inform me how I can support you in my booking form!

    • 18 years or older on the date of your appointment, government-issued ID is required when you sign the consent form. You cannot get tattooed without identification.

    • Larger work asks for a 3+ hour minimum per session. We can always scale down based on needs each day :)

    • Placement on the body can change pricing and are included in the hourly rate (certain areas are more difficult to tattoo).

    • BIPGM folks are encouraged to pay the sliding scale rate of $180-$250 (all previous clients or clients who have sent emails to book prior will be on previous sliding scale). We'll keep track of the hours and you can calculate/decide how much you'd like to pay. No questions asked, no judgment, no pressure :)

    • The sliding scale hourly rate can vary each session, depending on needs and access. You don't have to pay the same rate every session!

    • General hourly rate is $250/HR, (tip not included). A local California sales tax of 10.25% will be added to the final cost of the tattoo.

    • A timer will start when we begin the actual tattoo process, please pay in full at the end of each session--stenciling/free-handing are not part of the hourly rate.

    • Please keep in mind, larger pieces are a commitment that take a lot longer than some expect and to prepare financially, energetically, and otherwise.

  • As an artist, deposits are helpful to secure the ability to move forward with envisioning, drawing, measuring, mapping, and considering a lot around you, the person receiving the tattoo. They help protect us and know that you're here, willing, and committed to completing the vision of this work. Understandably, things change, and you may feel differently after certain phases in the process.

    • My request is, to complete the vision for the piece, to the best of our ability. Each session, we can discuss a good stopping point that will allow us both to feel good, until the next phase. From start to finish, there's a lot of love that goes into each step and by being able to show the final work, it helps my livelihood and we can close the container we consented to. Please consider these pieces before moving forward :)

    • After receiving the deposit, I'll start drawing and your appointment time/date will ensure the time of the appointment is dedicated to you. I only book one person a day so that there is spaciousness and to attune to what's needed.

    • On the day of your tattoo, the final design will be shown and minute adjustments can be made. For larger pieces, sleeves/backpieces, a free additional consult may be made for measuring/going over the rough design.

    • Any major adjustments, 30-50%+ of the design is changed, I ask to reschedule and a new deposit be made (for med-large pieces, the re-draw deposit will be 33%). For small-medium pieces, if you feel you need a second consult where you can see the design, another can be scheduled for a small fee to cover additional drawing ($25-50 sliding scale) before we start our first session.

    • If you no-show to your first consult, a $150 deposit is required before rescheduling. The deposit will go towards the tattoo. Once you submit the form, we can find a time/date that works for us.

    • I no longer have capacity for trades and please, no payment plans. Any payments sent in addition to the deposit, will not be counted towards your tattoo and will automatically be donated (proof will be sent to you).

    Deposit Amounts are as follows:

    • small [ palm size ]: $150

    • med [ three-hand size ]: $300

    • med-large [ half/whole arm or leg size ]: $600

    • large [ backpieces ] : $1000

I'd really love to ensure we're both feeling as best as possible before beginning this process. There are times where the energy to work together isn't aligned or for the design to come into fruition, and you are encouraged to communicate if this is the case, as I may feel the same way. This tattoo will be with you for the rest of your corporeal life and it's important to me that we both feel good about it. Please be gentle with yourself and me, inform me if you're not feeling up for getting tattooed before our session, with as much notice as possible and I will do the same.

    • All cancellations made within 72 hours before appointment date, without prior communication, will forfeit the deposit and a new one must be made to book a new appointment.

    • 15 minute late arrival, with no notice, will be treated as a cancellation and same deposit terms will apply. It's ok if you're a little late, please just lmk!

  • Since I'll be traveling, it takes time to get other people in the calendar after a cancellation.

    • Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the appointment will forfeit the deposit unless in cases of emergency. Please be honest!

    • Remove the bandage 2-3 hours after the tattoo has finished. If it is late at night, leave the bandage on until the morning. If you have Second Skin/Saniderm/Tegaderm, leave the bandage on for 3-5 days until it begins to leak, then continue with the following steps:

    • Rinse with warm water, for blackwork, as hot of water as you can handle and rinse for 5-10 minutes. Gently wash the tattoo with natural soap (Dr. Bronner’s) or antimicrobial soap and water and air dry or pat dry with a clean paper towel. Ensuring your fingers are clean, apply a thin layer of ointment/oil/butter (depending on your preference, my recommendation is Shea Butter) after washing the tattoo. Make sure whatever your decide to use has no perfumes, chemicals or additives, natural is best :) Keep the tattoo relatively on the drier side but apply enough ointment/oil/butter until the tattoo feels moisturized. Do not put on another bandage.

    • After washing your hands, wash your tattoo area several times a day with soap and water, do not force any peeling skin off from the tattoo—gently pat dry/air dry. If you plan to work out, please wait a minimum of 5-7 days and immediately shower/clean directly after.

    • You should repeat this process for 2-3 weeks and continue to moisturize the tattoo daily. Wear natural fibers during the healing process and no clothing that’ll stick to your tattoo. Avoid swimming and the sun for about 2 weeks.

*** If your tattoo develops hard layers, don’t worry it’s completely normal. But never pick, scratch, or peel it. You could get an infection or remove the ink. If you think your tattoo is infected, or isn’t healing properly, please email me and we’ll take it from there.
